of the Texas Revolution, the Republic of Texas, and the annexation
of Texas to the United States.
The
student is expected to:
ACTIVITY:
(This
activity will involve critical thinking, especially with regard
to the third part of the exercise)
Each
student will: 1) create a "Road to Annexation" by plotting
different points in which the above listed battles occurred; 2)
describe their outcomes; and, 3) explain how each one led to the
subsequent events listed until Texas secures independence and
is annexed by the United States.
