ACTIVITY:
In
small groups of 3-4, have students research and prepare a short
presentation on one of the following subjects regarding Texas
History:
a.
Abolition in Texas
b. Texas' role during the Civil War
c. Role of Mexican Texans during the Civil War
d. The Buffalo Soldiers
e. The Second Texas Infantry
The
student should utilize both textual and visual aids for their presentations.
